2.5 × 3 cm, white background.
“Tamaño infantil” is the small photo size used for many Mexican paperwork, including INM residency cards. Crop yours here and print a sheet of them.
“Tamaño infantil” is the 2.5 × 3 cm photo size that many Mexican procedures ask for. This page crops your picture to that size and lays out a print sheet. It is an unofficial tool and not part of any Mexican authority.
What the INM asks for
For residency cards, the INM’s Lineamientos para trámites y procedimientos migratorios ask for three photos tamaño infantil (2.5 × 3 cm): two from the front and one of the right profile, with a white background, the forehead and ears uncovered, and no earrings or glasses. Instant photos aren’t accepted.
This tool makes the front-facing photos. Ask a photo studio for the profile photo, or take it the same way and crop it with our Crop image tool.
Not for the Mexican passport
For a Mexican passport you don’t need to bring photos: the SRE takes the photo at the office. Check the requirements for your own procedure.

- Download the 4 × 6 in print sheet and print it at actual size.

Questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.
Can it change the background to white?
Yes. Set Background to White or Light blue. It works best on a head-and-shoulders photo; some official forms still ask for an unedited photo, so check the rules.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Take or pick a photo right on your phone; nothing is uploaded.
Is this an official tool?
No. Treeet is independent and unofficial. Each office decides whether a photo is accepted.
Can I use it for school or work paperwork?
Many forms ask for tamaño infantil photos. Check whether yours wants colour or black and white and a particular background.
Are instant photos accepted?
The INM rules say no. Print the sheet at a photo shop on photo paper.
