A CNIC copy without a photocopier.
Take a photo of each side, fix the corners if the card is tilted, and download one A4 PDF with the front above the back.
Banks, employers, landlords and schools in Pakistan regularly ask for a copy of your CNIC with both sides on one page. This tool makes that page from two phone photos, at the card’s real size, without a photocopier or scanner. It is an unofficial tool with no link to NADRA.
How it works
- Photograph the front of the card on a plain, dark surface, from straight above, in good light.
- Photograph the back the same way.
- Add both photos above, front first. If a card is tilted or shot at an angle, drag the four corner dots onto the corners of the card.
- Press Make page. We straighten each side and place it at 85.6 × 54 mm, the standard bank-card size, with the front on top.
- Download the A4 PDF, or switch Save as to JPG if the place you’re sending it wants an image.
Real size or large
Real size matches the card exactly when the page is printed on A4 at 100% scale, just like a photocopy. Choose Large if the copy will mostly be read on screen, or if someone needs to read small print such as the address. It doubles the card on the page.
Getting a sharp result
- Turn off the flash. The card’s surface reflects it and can hide your details under a white spot.
- Hold the phone parallel to the card. The corner tool fixes small angles, but a straight shot keeps text crisper.
- Use a dark background such as a table or a book cover, so the edges of the card are easy to see.
- Make sure the whole card is in the frame, with a little space around it.
Printing tips
- Print at “Actual size” or 100%, not “Fit to page”, if you need the card at true size.
- Use the PDF for printing, since some apps resize JPGs when they print.
- If you only need a digital copy, the PDF is small and easy to attach to an email or a chat.
Stop your copy from being misused
An ID copy in the wrong hands can be misused. Two habits help. First, mark the copy with who it’s for and why, for example “For ABC Bank account opening only”, along with the date. Our Watermark ID copy tool writes that across the image.
Second, share only what’s needed. If the person receiving the copy doesn’t need your address or other details, our Hide ID number tool covers them with a solid black box that can’t be undone.
Why not just scan it?
A flatbed scanner does a good job, but most people don’t have one at home, and a phone photo of a card is usually tilted, has background around it and is far too large to email comfortably. This tool fixes all three: it straightens the card from its four corners, trims away the table, and places it at the correct size on a page that prints the same anywhere.
When a form wants a small image instead
Some online forms want only the CNIC front as a small image file. PPSC’s online application, for example, asks for a CNIC front image under 25 KB. For that, crop the front photo and use our Compress image tool instead of this page.
Privacy
Both photos are processed in your browser. Treeet never receives your CNIC images, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Questions
Is my ID card uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your ID card never leaves your device.
Which cards work?
Any bank-card-sized ID: CNIC, Aadhaar, driving licences, Emirates ID and others.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Take or pick a photo right on your phone; nothing is uploaded.
Will a bank accept this instead of a photocopy?
It gives them the same thing a photocopy does: both sides, readable, on one page. Each organization sets its own rules, so ask if you’re unsure.
Does it work with other cards?
Yes, with any card of standard bank-card size, about 85.6 × 54 mm, which covers most plastic ID cards.
Can I add “Front” and “Back” labels?
Yes. Turn on “Write Front and Back” in the settings.
