Two images, one limit.
PPSC asks for a photograph and a CNIC front image, each under 25 KB. Run both through here and we save each as a JPG under 20 KB.
When you apply online with the Punjab Public Service Commission, you upload two images: your latest photograph and the front of your CNIC. Each one must be smaller than 25 KB. This page compresses both. It is an unofficial tool and not part of PPSC.
What PPSC asks for
PPSC’s “How to apply online?” guide, the Online Application Procedure PDF linked from ppsc.gop.pk, says to upload your latest photograph and CNIC front image, and that the maximum size of the image should be less than 25 KB. It doesn’t mention pixel dimensions.
In the guide, the upload comes after the step where your PSID is generated for the fee, so have both images ready before you start. Check the guide and your advertisement before applying, because requirements can change between recruitment rounds.
Preparing the photograph
- Use a recent head-and-shoulders photo against a plain, light background.
- If the picture is wide or full length, crop away the extra with our Passport photo maker or Crop image tool.
- Add it above and download the JPG. Target size is already set to under 20 KB.
Preparing the CNIC front image
- Lay the card on a dark, plain surface and photograph it from directly above in good light, without flash glare.
- Crop to the edges of the card so the text fills the picture. Our Crop image tool does this in a few seconds.
- Add the cropped picture above and download it. Zoom in on the result to make sure your name and number are readable before you upload.
Why under 20 KB and not 25 KB
Our size choices jump from 20 KB to 30 KB, and 30 KB would be over PPSC’s limit, so 20 KB is the closest safe setting. It also leaves a margin in case the portal counts kilobytes as 1,000 bytes rather than 1,024. Don’t switch to “Under 30 KB” for this form.
If the CNIC text gets blurry
A card has small print, and very small files can blur it. Crop tightly first so no bytes are wasted on the table around the card. A flat, straight, evenly lit photo also compresses much better than one taken at an angle.
If your card photo is tilted, our Document scanner can straighten it. Set it to save as JPG, then bring the result back here to get it under the limit.
Check both files before you submit
- Open each JPG and confirm it shows the right thing: your face in one, the front of your CNIC in the other.
- Look at the file size in your file manager. Both should be under 25 KB; ours will be under 20 KB.
- Name the files clearly, for example photo.jpg and cnic-front.jpg, so you don’t upload them into the wrong fields.
- Keep copies. Many PPSC posts are advertised through the year, and the same files can save time on your next application if the limit hasn’t changed.
Keep your CNIC image safe
A CNIC picture is sensitive. Treeet processes it in your browser and never uploads it. After you apply, delete extra copies from shared or cafe computers, and only share your CNIC image with people you trust to fill in forms for you.

Questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.
Will it look blurry?
Only at very small sizes like 10–20 KB. Above 50 KB photos usually look the same.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Take or pick a photo right on your phone; nothing is uploaded.
Is this connected to PPSC?
No. Treeet is an independent, unofficial tool. Submit your application only on the official PPSC website.
Does PPSC want the back of the CNIC too?
The guide we checked asks for the CNIC front image only. If your advertisement asks for both sides, follow it; our CNIC front and back tool can put both on one page.
What file format should I use?
The guide doesn’t name one. Our tool saves JPG, which keeps photos small and is widely accepted by job portals.
