What you get
- Your age in Gregorian years, months and days.
- Your age in Hijri years, months and days.
- Your date of birth in both calendars.
- The number of days you have lived, and the days until your next Gregorian birthday.
Why the two ages differ
A Hijri year is about 11 days shorter than a Gregorian one, so every 33 or so years your Hijri age gets about one year ahead. Someone aged 33 in Gregorian years is about 34 in Hijri years.
Born on a Hijri date?
Choose “Born on (Hijri)” and enter the day, month and year as written on your documents. The calculator converts it with the Umm al-Qura calendar, which official Saudi documents use.
