Front and back of an ID card on one sheet of paper

One page instead of two photocopies.

Snap the front and back, adjust the corners if needed, and download an A4 PDF with the card at real size.

Bank KYC, new SIM cards, rental agreements and job applications in India regularly ask for a copy of your Aadhaar showing both sides. This page turns two photos into one A4 page with the card at real size. Treeet is not affiliated with UIDAI; this is an unofficial tool.

Which Aadhaar this is for

The tool is made for card-shaped Aadhaar: the PVC card that UIDAI prints and posts on request, or the card-sized part cut from an Aadhaar letter or a printed e-Aadhaar. It expects two photos, one of each side.

If you only have the e-Aadhaar PDF, check it first. It may already show everything the other person needs, and you can print or share it as it is.

Steps

  1. Place the card on a dark, plain surface and photograph the front from straight above, with the flash off.
  2. Turn it over and photograph the back the same way.
  3. Add both photos above, front first. Drag the corner dots onto the card’s corners if the photo is tilted.
  4. Press Make page. We straighten each side and place it at 85.6 × 54 mm, the standard card size, front above back.
  5. Download the A4 PDF, or choose JPG under Save as if a form wants an image.

Share less: masked Aadhaar and covering digits

UIDAI lets you download a masked Aadhaar, which shows only the last four digits of your number. Where the full number isn’t required, a masked copy is the safer thing to hand over. Some processes, such as certain KYC checks, may still ask for the full number, so ask what’s needed.

If you’re working from a physical card, our Hide ID number tool can place a solid black box over the first eight digits before you share the copy. A solid box can’t be reversed, unlike a light blur.

Why a phone photo needs straightening

Photos of a card are rarely straight. The card sits at a slight angle, the table shows around it, and the size on the page depends on how close the phone was. We correct the angle from the four corners, crop away the background and scale both sides to the same real size, so the page looks like a proper photocopy rather than two snapshots.

Mark the copy with its purpose

Writing the purpose and date across a copy makes it much harder to reuse elsewhere. Something like “For XYZ Bank KYC only” with today’s date is enough. Our Watermark ID copy tool adds that text across the whole image in a few seconds.

Real size or large

Real size prints exactly like the card on A4 at 100% scale, the same as a photocopy. Large doubles the card on the page, which helps when the copy is mostly read on screen or the address text is small.

Tips for a clean copy

  • PVC cards are glossy, so turn off the flash and avoid overhead lights that reflect on the surface.
  • Keep the phone parallel to the card for the sharpest text.
  • Print with “Actual size” or 100% scale if the card must be true to size.
  • Use the PDF for printing and the JPG only when a form asks for an image.

Privacy

Your Aadhaar photos are processed in your browser. Treeet doesn’t receive them, store them or see them, which is how an ID tool should work.

Questions

Is my ID card uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your ID card never leaves your device.

Which cards work?

Any bank-card-sized ID: CNIC, Aadhaar, driving licences, Emirates ID and others.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Take or pick a photo right on your phone; nothing is uploaded.

Is this an official UIDAI service?

No. Treeet is an independent, unofficial tool. For Aadhaar services, use uidai.gov.in.

Can I use photos of a PVC Aadhaar card?

Yes. Put the card on a dark surface and avoid glare. The glossy finish reflects light easily, so keep the flash off.

Does it work for PAN or voter ID cards?

Yes, as long as the card is the standard bank-card size. The tool places any card of that size at real size.
