Passport size, white background.

BPSC wants a passport-size profile photo with a white background, smaller than 1 MB. Crop yours to 35 × 45 mm here and save it as a JPG under 200 KB.

The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) asks for a profile photo when you apply online. This page crops your picture to passport size and keeps the file small. It is an unofficial tool and not part of BPSC. Note that “BPSC” also means the Bihar Public Service Commission in India; this page is about Balochistan.

What BPSC asks for

BPSC’s “Guidelines for Online Application Submission” (a PDF on bpsc.gob.pk) shows the profile photo step. It says the file size should be less than 1 MB, and that you must upload a passport-size photo with a white background, facing the camera directly with both eyes open.

The guide doesn’t give a pixel size or a file format. Its example file is a JPEG, and JPG is what this tool saves. Check the guide and your advertisement before you apply, because requirements can change between recruitment rounds.

How to make the photo

  1. Stand in front of a plain white wall in even daylight and have someone take the picture straight on, at head height.
  2. Add the photo above. Photo size is already set to 35 × 45 mm, the usual passport size in Pakistan.
  3. Drag the frame so your face is centred and fills most of it, then click Use this crop.
  4. Download the JPG. File size limit is set to under 200 KB, far below BPSC’s 1 MB limit.

If your background isn’t white

The easiest fix is to retake the photo against a white wall or a white sheet. If that isn’t possible, set Background to White in the settings. It is done on your device, but the first use downloads about 30 MB, so use Wi-Fi if you can.

Why under 200 KB when the limit is 1 MB

A passport-size photo doesn’t need to be large, and a smaller file uploads faster on a slow connection. If you prefer, set File size limit to No limit: a 35 × 45 mm photo at 300 DPI is still well under 1 MB.

Check before you upload

  • Your face is clear, both eyes open, looking straight at the camera.
  • The background is plain white, with no shadows or patterns.
  • The file is under 1 MB. Ours will be under 200 KB.
  • Keep a copy for later BPSC posts, as long as the photo is still recent.

Questions

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.

Can it change the background to white?

Yes. Set Background to White or Light blue. It works best on a head-and-shoulders photo; some official forms still ask for an unedited photo, so check the rules.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Take or pick a photo right on your phone; nothing is uploaded.

Is this connected to BPSC?

No. Treeet is an independent, unofficial tool. Apply only on the official BPSC website.

Does BPSC want a particular pixel size?

The guidelines we checked give only the file size (less than 1 MB) and a white background. If your advertisement asks for exact pixels, set them with our Resize image tool.

Is this for Bihar BPSC too?

No. This page follows the Balochistan Public Service Commission guide. Bihar’s commission has its own rules, so check its notice instead.
