What’s Markdown?
Plain text with light formatting marks. Used in READMEs, notes and docs.
Turn a Markdown (.md) file into a clean, printable PDF: headings, lists, tables, code blocks and links come out formatted on A4 or Letter pages. It follows GitHub-flavored Markdown and runs in your browser, so notes, READMEs and drafts never leave your device.
What comes out formatted
- Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, strikethrough and inline code.
- Bulleted, numbered and task lists (- [x] items show as ticked).
- Tables, with header rows set apart.
- Fenced code blocks in a monospace font, with line breaks kept.
- Blockquotes, horizontal rules and links, which stay clickable in the PDF.
Settings
Choose the paper size (A4 or Letter) and the text size. Pages are filled automatically, and long tables and code blocks continue on the next page.
Text in other scripts, such as Urdu, Arabic, Hindi or Chinese, is drawn with your device’s fonts, so it shows correctly even though the PDF’s built-in fonts only cover Latin letters.
Things to know before converting
- Images linked by a path or a web address () can’t be fetched from your computer by a web page, so they’re left out. Images embedded as data: URIs are included.
- Front matter (a --- block with title: and date: lines at the top) isn’t recognised. Delete it first.
- Raw HTML inside the Markdown is read only for simple tags such as <b> or <br>; scripts never run.
- Mermaid diagrams and math stay as code. Use Mermaid to PNG to turn a diagram into an image first.

Is there a size limit?
Only your device’s memory. Long documents take a little longer.
Is the text selectable in the PDF?
Yes for Latin text: you can select, copy and search it. Text in other scripts is drawn as small pictures so it displays correctly, and can’t be selected.
Will a GitHub README convert?
Mostly. Headings, lists, tables, task lists and code blocks work. Linked images, badges loaded from the web and GitHub-only extras such as alert boxes are left out.
Can I convert several Markdown files at once?
Yes. Add them all and each becomes its own PDF; download them together as a ZIP.
