The declaration, at the preferred size.
We fit your declaration into 800 × 400 pixels with white edges where needed, and save a JPG capped at 100 KB.
IBPS forms ask for a handwritten declaration as an image of 50 to 100 KB, preferably 800 × 400 pixels. This page resizes a photo of your declaration to that size and keeps the file under 100 KB. It is an unofficial tool with no connection to IBPS.
What IBPS notices ask for
The scanning and upload guidelines in a current IBPS advertisement on ibps.in (October 2026) describe the declaration like this. Your own exam’s notice is the one that counts, so check it.
- Written in English, in your own handwriting, on white paper with black ink.
- Not in capital letters.
- File type: JPG or JPEG.
- Dimensions: 800 × 400 pixels at 200 DPI preferred, which is 10 × 5 cm.
- File size: between 50 KB and 100 KB.
- The wording is given in the notice. Copy it exactly, filling in your name.
Steps
- Copy the declaration text from your notice onto plain white paper in black ink, in your normal handwriting, not in capitals.
- Photograph it from directly above in good light. Crop close to the text with our Crop image tool if there’s a lot of empty paper around it.
- Add the photo above. Size is set to 800 × 400 pixels, fitted inside with white edges, and the limit to under 100 KB.
- Download the JPG and check that it’s between 50 and 100 KB.
- Zoom in and read every word. Then upload it in the declaration field.
Why “fit inside” with white edges
A handwritten declaration rarely has exactly a 2 to 1 shape. Stretching it to 800 × 400 would squash your handwriting, and cropping could cut off words. So we fit the whole page inside the 800 × 400 box and fill any leftover space with white, which looks like more paper.
If you’d rather fill the box completely, crop your photo to roughly twice as wide as it is tall before adding it.
If the file is under 50 KB
A phone photo of handwriting on paper at 800 × 400 usually lands near the 100 KB cap, because paper texture adds detail. A very clean, bright image can come out smaller. If yours is under 50 KB, retake the photo without the flash, in natural light, so the paper keeps its natural tone; avoid apps that turn the page pure white. Writing a little larger so the text fills more of the frame also helps.
Mistakes that get declarations rejected
- Writing in capital letters.
- Someone else writing it for you. The notice says the declaration must be in your own handwriting.
- Writing in a language other than English.
- Changing the wording. Copy the text from the notice exactly.
- A blurry or tilted photo where words are hard to read.
Getting a clear photo of the page
Place the paper on a flat surface near a window and hold the phone directly above it, parallel to the page, so the lines of text stay straight. Make sure your hand or phone doesn’t cast a shadow across the writing. If the photo comes out tilted, our Document scanner can straighten the page; save it as JPG, then bring it back here to resize.
Other IBPS uploads
You’ll also need a photo (20 to 50 KB), a signature (10 to 20 KB) and a left thumb impression. Our IBPS photo size and IBPS signature size pages are preset for the first two.

Questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo never leaves your device.
What is DPI?
Dots per inch. Forms that ask for a size in cm usually expect 300 DPI.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Take or pick a photo right on your phone; nothing is uploaded.
Is this an IBPS website?
No. Treeet is an independent, unofficial tool. Apply only through ibps.in.
What should the declaration say?
Use the exact text printed in your exam’s notice, with your name filled in. Don’t paraphrase it.
Can I use the cm setting instead of pixels?
Yes. Choose Centimeters, enter 10 × 5 and set DPI to 200. The result is about 787 × 394 pixels, close to the preferred size.
