Your name in Arabic calligraphy.

Write a name, a verse or a greeting, choose from Ruqaa, Naskh, Kufi and display fonts, and save it as a transparent PNG for cards, logos and posts.

Turn Arabic text into calligraphy: type a name, a verse or a greeting, pick a font such as Aref Ruqaa, Amiri or Reem Kufi, choose the colours, and download a PNG with a transparent background. The 14 fonts are free and open-source, and everything happens in your browser.

Fonts

  • Ruqaa: Aref Ruqaa, the everyday handwritten style.
  • Naskh: Amiri, Scheherazade New, Noto Naskh Arabic, Lateef, Markazi Text, Harmattan and Mirza, clear and classic.
  • Kufi and display: Reem Kufi, Katibeh, El Messiri, Lalezar, Rakkas and Jomhuria, for headlines and logos.

Settings

  • Text size and colour, and a soft shadow.
  • Background: transparent, plain colours, gradients or your own colour.
  • Picture size: fit the text, a square post, a 9:16 story or a wide picture.

Tips

Short text looks best: a name or a few words. Add harakat (diacritics) in your text if you want them; the fonts draw them. For a logo or a wedding card, download the transparent PNG and place it on your design.
